“Well the tour was cancelled due to the lack of customers for the tour; however, I was offered a different tour to Heidelberg and Rothenburg instead. It was pretty cool seeing all the sites and fellow travelers and football fans. The tour guide Thomas was great and funny. Just for information (I didn’t know this at the time), but Frankfurt’s tour season kinda of ends prior to the end of October. The reason for a brief continuation of tours were due mainly of the NFL games being played in consecutive weeks in Frankfurt. Almost all the people on the tour were football fans from KC or Miami.”

“Michael was an absolute treasure! He is so obviously passionate about history and telling the story of his country. He tailored the tour to our taste (aka lots of history and geeking out over the details in the castle’s architecture). The tour allowed for education and then free time to see different sections of the castle. Take his advice and only spend a short time in downtown Heidelberg, you’ll want the full time in Rothenburg. If you were on the fence, book this trip it is well worth the drive. We are already planning another trip back. Thank you, Michael we are so grateful we met you!”
