“Samen met mijn vriendin ben ik uit eten geweest bij Dinner in the Dark, een ervaring waar we vooraf best hoge verwachtingen van hadden. Het ontvangst begon echter al teleurstellend. In de bar was alles zeer minimaal en rommelig. Daarnaast was vooraf niet gecommuniceerd dat we begeleid zouden worden door slechtziende of blinde mensen. Op zich is dat geen probleem, maar het is wel iets wat je van tevoren wilt weten bij een zogenoemde “experience”. We moesten strikt op tijd aanwezig zijn en waren uiteindelijk ongeveer 25 minuten te vroeg. Dat bleek geen voordeel: vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen tot aan de eerste gang hebben we ruim een uur…”
